WHAT IS A STUDENT VC?

Campus Capital’s Student VC programme enables the best and brightest, PhD’s, MBA’s and Undergraduates at UK’s leading universities to learn about equity investment and empowers them to make real early stage investment decisions.

It’s important to note that while Student VC’s will meet with founders, assess the information provided to them and make decisions on which businesses to put forward through our process, they are students and are not employees or agents of Campus Capital SVC Ltd or any of its group companies. Due to this they are unable to enter into any agreements or provide any guarantees on behalf of Campus Capital.

WHAT STUDENT VCS DO

TAKE PART IN AN EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING PROGRAMME

Student VCs are enrolled into an experiential learning programme focused on venture capital, equity investment and growth business.

PLEDGE TO KEEP ALL INFORMATION PRIVATE

Student VCs pledge to act with integrity and to keep all information they encounter on companies and individuals private and not to share any information outside of their team and the Campus Capital systems.

TAKE MEETINGS WITH FOUNDERS & ANALISE BUSINESS INFO

As part of the programme, Student VCs will take meetings with founders to explore the potential of each investment opportunity. They will also have access to all information provided within the investment pitch or during the initial due diligence process.

MAKE INITIAL INVESTMENT DECISIONS

Student VCs will work with the programme team to decide which deals should be passed over to the investment committee for investment consideration. - It's important to note that this is the only way the Campus Capital Ltd investment committee will receive investment opportunities.

WHAT STUDENT VCS CAN'T DO

ENTER INTO ANY AGREEMENTS

Student VCs are not employees or agents of Campus Capital, because of this they are unable to enter into any agreements or make any offers on behalf of Campus Capital SVC Ltd or any of its group companies.

PROMOTE ANY INVESTMENTS OR UNDER TAKE ANY REGULATED ACTIVITY

Student VCs are part of an educational programme run by Campus Capital SVC Ltd. Because of this they are not in a position to promote investment opportunities (businesses) to investors or undertake any other regulated activities. PROVIDE CONSULTANCY OR BUSINESS ADVICE

Although our Student VCs are extremely knowledgeable people, they are not in a position to provide business advice to companies either on behalf of themselves or on behalf of Campus Capital. All suggestions or advice provided by Student VCs should be taken as feedback and only acted on after first hand research and at your own risk.
